Summer excursions

Circuito Termal (thermal Circuit) and Salto del Agrio (waterfall of the bit)
Visiting: The springs of the Máquinas (little machines), the viewpoint of the Copahue volcano, the Usina geotérmica (Geothermal Plant) and the lagoons Las Mellizas (the twins lagoons). Arriving to the Salto del Agrio you notice the waterfall of 50mts. height. At the return you will meet the Posada del Agrio. That long time ago it was used as a shelter to reach to the springs and where you will be able to test its homemade beer, ingredients, and homemade jams. Duration: 3 ½ hours.

Caviahue and 7 Cascadas del Agrio (waterfalls of the bit)
Visiting: Viewpoint of Caviahue, Ski Centre, Farallón Hotel, Pvillage of de Caviahue with CEARART, the 7 Cascadas del Agrio inside a forest of millennial Araucaria trees and the Rincón Hueney (Hueney Corner) to taste a afternoon snack typical from the Cordillera. Approximated duration: 4 Hs.

Kid at a Mapuche community
Millaìn Currical community, at the Mapuche Master. Welcome with mate (Typical drink) and tortas fritas (fried dough), visiting the zone and introduction to its culture. Complete lunch with spit kid and mud furnace. Visit to the viewpoint of the Hualcupen lagoon. Duration approx.: 6 Hs.

Magic night at the Rincón Hueney (Hueney corner)
the prettiest place of Caviahue. It offers a sunset between forest of araucarias and falls, dinner of smoked ingredients, rabbits to the plow disc or trouts and a chocolate to enjoy within an excellent musical show. In order to finish there will be a tost at the Caviahue viewpoint under the moonlight and the stars. Duration approx.: 4 Hs.

Ascent to the Crater of the Copahue volcano
Trip by the slope of the volcano in vehicles 4x4 and after that trekking until arriving at the crater, where are the lagoon, the glacier and where the Cordillera de los Andes (Andes mountains range) can be observed with the volcanoes Lanin, Domuyo, Antuco, etc. Duration approx.: 6 Hs.

4x4 Hualcupen lagoon and Cajón de los Barros
Visiting: The valley of Hualcupen and mapuche community posts; the lagoon with its beach of sand and volcanic ash, the Cajon de los Barros and the forest of araucarias and lenga trees. Duration approx. : 4 Hs.

Villa Pehuenia (small town Pehuenia)
Visiting: The International Pass Pino Hachado (axed pine), Crater of the Batea Mahuida volcano, viewpoints of the Aluminé and Moquehue lakes and the La Angostura bridge. Having lunch consisting of trouts, sitting opposite the lake and stroll in boat. Snack in the beach of an island. Duration: Complete day.

Trekking
Viewpoint of the mellizas (viewpoint of the twins) and limit with Chile, Viejo volcano (Old volcano), siete Cascadas (Seven Waterfalls), Escondida lagoon (hidden lagoon), Peninsula and Puente de piedra (stone bridge).
